An old uninsulated loft hatch draws warm air across your ceiling and, acting like a chimney, can funnel up to 20% of the heat from the room it’s located in.

TWIST OR SLIDE?
Use your space
Improve the look of your existing loft hatch with a low profile, unobtrusive design which blends much better with its surroundings. Choose a slide action mechanism so you won’t see the hinges when the hatch is closed. Or a twist mechanism which enables you to open the hatch with a simple turn of the pole.
We’ll be pleased to offer our thoughts on what will work for you – and if you want your loft hatch moving to a different place, or even a different room, we can do that too!
SAFETY EXTRAS
Rails & Surrounds
We’ve a range of rails, safety rails and ballustrade to provide additional safety and stability when accessing your loft.
A surround safety rail gives you something solid to hold on to when entering or leaving your loft, and acts as a safety rail around the hatch whilst you’re in there. It’s 1 metre tall, 1 metre wide and installed to fit your loft entrance up to ¾ metre. A metal grab rail is a smaller but equally effective option, particularly if space is tight.
Custom built timber safety frames can take almost any shape. They are especially useful if, like many properties, your loft entrance has awkward or unusual angles.

There are a wide range of lighting options available. Your fitter will be happy to discuss the best solution for your new space.
